This is just a reminder that the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be available on January 1st. At the very least, you will need your student and parent's last paycheck stub of 2009 to fill it out. Then you will be able to go back and make corrections once your taxes have been filed. The website is www.fafsa.gov. DO NOT GO TO fafsa.com! They will charge you $80 to complete what should be FREE!!! Please contact me if you have any questions.
Southeast will be hosting a Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, January 5th starting at 6:00 p.m. in the library. April Keim with the WSU financial aid office will be here to present the FAFSA, what you are able to gain from the FAFSA and answer any questions you might have. Please make plans to attend. This is open to all seniors and their parents.
Enjoy your winter break...happy holidays! I will see you back at school in the new year!
